Good morning Sea Lions!

Below is information from Wentzville regarding their pool - please look this over this morning.  A 50 meter pool is a little different than what we're use to :-)

We'll see everyone in a few hours!

The meet will be held at Progress Park Pool (968 Meyer Rd Wentzville, MO 63385). The gates will open for spectators to enter at 4:30. Water warm ups begin at 5:00 and the meet starts promptly at 5:30pm. Parking will likely be a challenge, so we encourage families to arrive early and carpool if possible. Please obey all parking laws.
There is a playground near the bullpen. We ask that children only use the playground if their parents/guardians are directly supervising them. Swimmers of all ages should not be on the playground without supervision or when they are supposed to be in the bullpen.
We ask that you visit our concession stand where we have a good variety of reasonably priced food and drink including pizza, breakfast burritos, walking tacos, veggies, fruits and much more. This is our team’s largest fundraiser and we appreciate your support.
We do have a 50 Meter pool. This may answer some of your questions about how that will work:

• 100 IM: Swimmers will change strokes in the middle of the pool. There will be a black line at the bottom of the pool and a yellow rope over the 25 meter mark.
• 25 events: There will be adult “flaggers” in the water that raise their flag when a swimmer touches. Timers will stop their watch when the flag is raised.
• 100 relays: Same as the 25 meter events. Swimmers will leave the starting block when the flag is raised for the swimmer before them. Timers will assist with this.
