Hello Sea Lions!

Our team fought hard in the blistering heat last night for our second battle against O'Fallon, but we unfortunately came up a little short - OFT 1356 to LSL 1208.  We appreciate all the hard work of our swimmers, and even though we didn't bring home a win, there is so much improvement to celebrate :-)

We had a staggering 103 swimmers achieve a personal best last night.  Congrats to all of those swimmers - keep up the hard work!

We also had a new record set!  Aurie O. set a new record in Girls 13-14 100y Breaststroke with a time of 1:14.37!!  The previous record was set by Izzy A. back in 2021 with a time of 1:14.60.  Izzy holds a number of records for our team - she is currently swimming collegiately in Florida and has also been in some Olympic trial events.  Please give Aurie a big hive five when you see her at the pool - breaking a record is quite an achievement!

Attached are the full results for the meet.  We'll see you all next week as we wrap up the season with our final home meet against Twin Chimneys.

See you at the pool!
